Rocky Mountain High Fireworks

Almost forgot that the City of Aspen was shooting off fireworks tonight but since we are staying just a few blocks from the base of Aspen Ski Area we heard the first few bangs then ran outside.

I was too shortsighted (lazy) to set up a tripod so I balanced the camera on Prema's head to capture this memory.

The show was great despite a light drizzle. The temp is in the mid-40s.  I suppose that is all just fine in light of the extremely high wildfire danger in the area.
