On the Maya Calendar

We are back on the Maya calendar today. She has a rehearsal and then her private lesson with Mr. Kantor.  Sadly we then will take Prema to the airport where she will be leaving on a jet plane to head back to SD for a week of sight-saving work.

Yesterday was a nice day with no defined obligations.  Practices occurred intermittently throughout the day then we went to the ARC for some recreation.  Here is a view of the "play" pool.  I did some work in the lap pool which is off to the right of the camera view.  The kids went ice skating.

There is a fun water slide, a hot tub, a "lazy river" channel and the large open area.  It is quite a bargain for us to be able to use this facility at the local resident rate due to Maya being a student at the AMFS.

For supper we went to one of our favorite places, Little Annie's, named after a productive silver mine which was named after the daughter of the miner who first exploited the natural resource.  This kids hopped a ride while the rest of us walked.  We all arrived just before a major rain event.

I started to say something at the table while awaiting the arrival of the food and realized no one was listening to me.  At least Jamuna was reading a book. I was thankful for the moment of peace and quiet.
